Our Story
Loom came from years of working inside that complexity.
Across education, workforce, business, and community, we kept seeing the same thing: good ideas were everywhere. So were talented people, resources, relationships, and opportunities.
What was often missing wasn't another program or another plan. It was the space to bring the pieces together—to see what was already there, recognize what was missing, and build something that made sense for the people who would actually use it.
That's what became Loom.
A place where conversations become clarity, possibilities become plans, and good ideas become something people can actually put to work.

Meet the Founder
Yolanda Scott has spent more than 25 years doing this work from multiple sides of the table—across education, workforce, business, and community.
She has built programs from the ground up, led complex initiatives, developed partnerships across sectors, and stepped into work already underway to help organizations figure out what comes next.
That experience shaped something she believes deeply: the people closest to a challenge often hold more of the answer than they realize. Sometimes they need someone who can listen, see the connections, ask the right questions, and help turn what they know into a way forward.
That's the way Yolanda works. And it's the way Loom was built to work.
